Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, providing a friendly and professional experience
• Schedule appointments and answer phone calls promptly and courteously
• Take patient vitals and draw blood for tests or procedures
• Administer vaccines and assist with other clinical procedures as needed
• Support the clinical team in providing health education and outreach initiatives
• Triaging injuries and medical emergencies at a manufacturing plant healthcare facility
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure proper documentation
• Collaborate effectively with staff to support patient care and clinic operations

Required Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience beyond externship
• Experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture and electronic medical records (EMR)
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interactions
• Strong attention to detail and computer proficiency
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to various clinical responsibilities

Additional Skills & Requirements

• Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
• Experience working with pediatric patients (ages 2+) and triage in a clinical setting
• Required UDS certification for Medical Assistants
• Availability to work scheduled shifts, including early morning, late afternoon, or weekend hours as needed
• Must have badge access for employee entrance at the healthcare location
• No onsite dispensing or fee collection required
