Job TitleJob Duties/Responsibilities:Ability to apply a wide range of casting techniques in accordance with established practicesPerform cast application and removal by verbally confirming with the patient before beginning the applicationAssesses patient comfort related to casts; assists with comfort measuresResponsible for sanitization of instrumentsCleans and stocks cast rooms and exam roomsAssists providers' clinical healthcare team as neededMaintain a safe clinical environment in accordance with all OSHA guidelinesResponsible for performing tasks that are within the scope of his/her educational preparation, knowledge, and permitted local, state, and federal guidelines; and the policies of the facility requesting the services.Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAARequired Skills/Abilities:Ability to work effectively within role independently and with other team membersWorking knowledge of orthopedic terminology and anatomyExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsDetail oriented with above average organizational skillsEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience in a clinical setting strongly preferredEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
