Part-Time Emergency Department Nurse

Role Overview Provides direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Responsibilities Promote patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication. Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in professional development. Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, coordinating with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors. Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safe practices. Qualifications Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (RN license required). Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience. No supervisor experience necessary.
