Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech position in Brunswick, Georgia, United States. This travel assignment starts on 09/28/2026 and runs for 13 weeks in a hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Provide patient care by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring comfort during exams
- Perform imaging using ultrasound transducers to scan, capture, and optimize images of the abdomen, heart, blood vessels, or fetus
- Conduct preliminary diagnostic review by assessing image quality, identifying normal or pathological findings, and summarizing findings for physicians
- Maintain ultrasound equipment, including preparation, cleaning, and troubleshooting as needed
- Perform general and vascular ultrasound procedures, including breast imaging
- Document procedures and communicate results clearly to the interpreting clinician

Requirements
- Active credentials to practice diagnostic ultrasound in the assignment state (Georgia) or as required by the employer
- Proficiency in general and vascular ultrasound imaging, including breast imaging
- Ability to operate ultrasound equipment, optimize image quality, and manage patient care during exams
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain procedures to patients and families
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with a 36-hour weekly schedule (Wed–Fri, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.)
- Ability to adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
