Position Summary - The IU School of Medicine (IUSM) Department of Anatomy, Cell Biology & Physiology (ACBP) is seeking well‐qualified and highly motivated applicants for a clinical‐track faculty position in the department. Successful applicants for this education-focused position must have a PhD and/or MD degree. Competitive candidates will have a significant background in teaching the anatomical disciplines (i.e. gross anatomy, histology, embryology, and/or neuroanatomy) to medical and health professional students. Additional responsibilities will include overseeing the department's outreach mission, which provides anatomy- and physiology-based science outreach for K-12 and post-secondary students from across Indianapolis, Indiana, and neighboring states. The IU School of Medicine is committed to advancing outstanding educational delivery in an integrated environment of basic science and clinical care. Faculty must be highly collaborative and eager to work in interdisciplinary teams across fields and participate in the entire educational mission of the department. Opportunities exist for collaborations in course development across the School of Medicine and IU-Indianapolis campus and throughout Indianapolis, including the areas of anatomy, physiology, embryology, histology, and neuroanatomy. The successful applicant will have opportunities to engage in relevant service opportunities with the department and school.
