About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience required License: Valid RN Licensure Certifications: BLS (AHA), CNOR preferred Must-Have: Scrub and Circulate experience in Neuro, Da Vinci Robots, total joint, and spine surgeries Description: Provides direct and indirect patient care to patients and their families. Utilizes nursing processes for comprehensive patient assessment. Develops and implements nursing care plans and patient education. Conducts ongoing evaluation of patient care. Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients. Coordinates an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care. Incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. Maintains collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers. Ensures effective communication throughout the care process. Comfortable with a variety of surgical procedures such as abdominal aortic aneurysm repair and various orthopedic surgeries. Experienced with robotic and laparoscopic-assisted procedures. Familiar with electronic health record systems. Supportive of infection control practices and safety protocol. May float to other locations if necessary based on patient census. Adheres to all organizational policies and procedures.
