About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 10 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Pending License accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Neuro ICU experience required Description: These needs are specifically for winter coverage for a 10-week contract only. Local radius restrictions are waived for this assignment. Must start by December 18, 2026. No holiday requests for time off. No more than 5 days of requested time off. Potential to float to the sister SICU unit as needed. First-timers accepted. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Guaranteed hours are provided. Special requirements include neuro ICU experience. Staffing ratios average 1:2 for days and 1:2 for nights. The unit provides care for adults and geriatrics with various neuro-specific diagnoses. Special procedures performed include EVD placements, arterial and central line placements, intubation, and lumbar drains. The unit is supported by an interdisciplinary team that includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. Candidates must communicate any vacation plans during the period between sign date and start date. A reference is required. Travel experience is necessary. Modules must be completed pre-start and annually. Modules are non-billable.
