Details Client Name: CommonSpirit Mercy Hospital - Durango Job Type: Travel Offering: Allied Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacy Tech Job ID: 35589678 Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Weekly Pay: $1303.0 Shift Details Shift: Day - 10x4 - 07AM Scheduled Hours: 40 Job Order Details Start Date: 10/26/2026 End Date: 01/25/2027 Duration: 13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Profession: Pharmacy Technician Specialty: Pharmacy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 7AM-5:30PM; 10:30AM-9PM; Weekend shifts: 7AM-5:30PM or 8AM-6:30PM Experience: 2 years License: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have Experience with sterile compounding and hospital pharmacy operations Description Hiring process includes profile review and interview with the unit manager. Technicians will work a variety of 10-hour shifts and every other weekend. Common duties include Pyxis deliveries, handling outdates, and inventory management. Technicians will perform crash cart checks and refills, phone triage, and respond to medication messages. Experience with sterile compounding in a hospital setting is required. Flexible and friendly individuals who are hard-working are preferred. No on-call requirement is needed for this position. The medication dispensing system utilizes an electronic health record and Pyxis. Client laundered scrubs will be provided. General department orientation will be provided. The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts during the 13-week assignment. The candidate must be available for holiday coverage as assigned.
