Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit serving a high-risk OB and culturally diverse population
• Circulate on cesarean sections as required
• Support postpartum patients as a preferred area of practice within the unit
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility staffing needs, including potential float to nearby sister facilities
• Meet weekend staffing requirements as needed
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• BLS certification required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals may be considered under separate terms)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Postpartum nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience in high-risk OB settings
• Comfort working with culturally diverse patient populations
• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are also encouraged to apply
