Director- Trade and Health Policy

This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Global Affairs, headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year of specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Providing authoritative international trade policy advice to senior leadership on complex trade matters involving regulatory, health, economic, or other domestic policy interests. Leading the development and advancement of international trade policy involving public health, including formulating or coordinating trade policies, negotiating positions, agreements, or trade-related measures, and developing policy options and negotiating strategies to advance organizational objectives. Representing the U.S. Government, an organization, or other entity in senior-level international trade engagements involving public health, including bilateral, plurilateral, or multilateral negotiations, policy processes, or international forums. Leading complex international trade policy portfolios, projects, or teams requiring substantive knowledge of international trade rules, agreements, institutions, and policy mechanisms; coordinating subject-matter experts and competing policy interests; and providing recommendations to senior decision-makers.
