Senior Manager, Global Enterprise Communications

Lead strategic communications initiatives that enhance Capital One’s reputation and support key business objectives Manage high-impact programs and collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal and external partners Serve as a strategic advisor to internal leaders and partners for data-backed, integrated communications campaigns for Premium Products and Experiences Drive premium narratives around Premium Products & Travel and Loyalty, Marketing & Spend Experiences to external audiences Develop compelling, consistent, tailored messages for various audiences and channels, including responses to media opportunities Monitor current and emerging internal and external risks and sensitivities and manage related stakeholder needs Provide real-time counsel on communications strategies to optimize results, mitigate risk, and ensure stakeholder engagement Leverage data to evaluate results, extract insights, and optimize future programs Identify opportunities to institute best practices and improve enterprise governance Oversee team operations and exercise excellent judgment Requirements Bachelor’s degree or military experience At least 6 years of communications experience Exceptional judgment Ability to build relationships in a highly matrixed environment Sustained focus on delivering results Creative problem-solving ability Ability to interpret data and stakeholder dynamics Passion for storytelling Empathy, teamwork, and a sense of humor Preferred: at least 1 year of public relations or communications experience in financial services, technology, or consumer brands Preferred: at least 1 year of experience developing and implementing change management strategies at a publicly traded company Preferred: at least 3 years developing and executing thought leadership and consumer campaigns Preferred: at least 3 years supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal business clients or serving as a consultant for external business clients Must not require new employment authorization sponsorship from Capital One Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in strategic communications, data-driven campaign development, and stakeholder engagement, with a strong focus on delivering results and optimizing communication strategies.
