License: Active ME License or Active IMLC
Certifications: Covid and flu vaccine required

EPIC Experience required


Description:
We are looking for a locum Hematology Oncology physician to join our team.
The physician will see general hematology and oncology patients across a broad range of diagnoses.
The role includes working with APPs and other team members.
Additionally, the physician will respond to in-basket questions and concerns through the electronic medical record.
Phone calls from outside providers regarding patients known and unknown to the practice will also be part of the responsibilities.
The expected patient load is approximately 10-15 patients per day, consisting of a mix of new and follow-up visits.
Bone marrow biopsies will be optional as they are performed by APPs.
Comfort with benign hematology is essential, as we receive a significant volume of these referrals.
This position involves no weekend coverage or call coverage.
The practice is composed of 2 physicians and 2 APPs.
An occasional rotating fellow may be present.
The practice benefits from a strong team that works well together and provides excellent physician support.
The location offers a southern community near the seacoast and urban options.
