Responsibilities

Conducting patient evaluations and assessments
Implementing general respiratory care procedures and protocols
Performing critical care procedures in adult care settings
Executing blood gas analyses
Overseeing the maintenance and management of all respiratory equipment
Providing education to patients regarding their care

QualificationsEducation

Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences is mandatory.

Work Experience

No prior experience is necessary.

One year of experience in professional respiratory roles is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

Must be credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and possess a license from the State of Georgia through the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.

Additional Licenses and Certifications

Current certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are required.
