Job Summary The Mission Capability and Verification Center (MCVC) located on White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM is searching for a qualified Multi‑Disciplined Support Technician. The candidate will participate in all types of support for trades, mission activity, and testing. General knowledge of machine shop and fabrication processes is desired. Primary tasks include equipment movement, site establishment and sustainment locally on WSMR and at multiple testing locations throughout the United States, collaborating with multi‑disciplined teams to support projects, providing general facility maintenance, and working in an engineering environment to support testing of engineering hardware per customer and industry standards. Responsibilities Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks. Assist with equipment movement, site establishment, and local sustainment on WSMR and other U.S. testing locations. Support field testing environments throughout the year. Conduct general facility and fleet maintenance and support. Provide additional support to MCVC as needed outside of primary duties. Travel 50% of the time both within WSMR and to other locations. Basic Qualifications AA/AS degree or equivalent 2‑year post‑high‑school training. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience. Experience collaborating with a multi‑disciplinary team to achieve common goals. U.S. citizenship and active, transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to start date. Preferred Qualifications Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Experience working within trades/construction/maintenance (framing, carpentry, surveying). Experience with machining, welding, and fabrication; understanding of engineering principles and design techniques. Ability to independently prioritize work in alignment with schedule and budget. Strong written and oral communication skills for collaboration in an engineering environment and with internal and external customers. Travel 50% travel required both within WSMR and to other locations. Salary Range 60,000 USD – 114,000 USD.
