College Liquidation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit building a circular, student-led campus economy. We divert textiles and overstock from landfills and channel them into campus programs that fund under-resourced student clubs and organizations — turning waste into resources for the students who need them most. We’ve grown to 48+ campuses and diverted 35,000+ pounds of textile waste, reinvesting proceeds into student initiatives like internships, career advising, and professional development. We’re not a store — we’re an ecosystem for sustainable, student-run campus culture. The Role You’ll be the on-the-ground engine of College Liquidation’s campus growth — owning the path from first campus contact to active, funding-generating partnership. You’ll build relationships with student organizations and campus stakeholders, run high-energy pop-up activations, and drive the marketing that fills them. This is a builder’s role for someone who’s equal parts relationship-driven closer and creative marketer, and who wants their work to fund real outcomes for students. What you’ll do Recruit, onboard, and activate student clubs and organizations as College Liquidation partners Plan and run campus pop-up activations that hit engagement and fundraising targets Execute marketing across social, email, and on-campus channels to drive turnout Own the numbers — track performance and find the levers that grow each campus Carry the mission — tell the College Liquidation story (circular economy, textile diversion, student funding) in a way that unifies student bodies around sustainability Train and support event staff, volunteers, and campus partners Keep branding and messaging consistent across every channel Who thrives in this role Energetic and outgoing — bubbly, talkative, and comfortable being the loud, welcoming presence at a busy pop-up Not shy — you start conversations with strangers and enjoy it Thick-skinned — you can take rejection and keep your energy up Genuinely into campus life and love engaging with students all day Comfortable in a retail-style, high-traffic pop-up setting A fast learner who adapts on the fly What we’re looking for Strong communication and relationship skills — you can win over a club president and a campus administrator in the same afternoon Sales and partnership instincts — you drive results without losing the mission Organized and self-directed across multiple campuses and events Comfortable on-site and traveling locally for events Proficiency with common office and CRM tools Bonus: nonprofit, campus, events, or sustainability experience Associate or bachelor’s preferred (Marketing, Business, Communications, or related) — equivalent hands-on experience carries equal weight Why it’s worth it Every partnership you build and event you run directly funds students and keeps textiles out of landfills.
