Business Development Liaison - Healthcare

Business Development Liaison Reports To: Chief Executive Officer Location: On-site offices in Palm Beach Gardens and Lake Worth, FL Status: Full-Time or Part-Time Position Summary The Business Development Liaison serves as the primary ambassador for Atlantis Orthopaedics, representing the practice and its physicians to the community, referring providers, and strategic partners. This role is responsible for developing and executing business development, outreach, and brand initiatives that support growth, strengthen referral relationships, and align with the practice's mission and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the practice's Business Development Plan, including goals, initiatives, timelines, and budget, in alignment with organizational strategy. Serve as a professional representative of Atlantis Orthopaedics to physicians, staff, referring providers, facilities, payers, vendors, patients, and community partners. Identify, implement, and evaluate business development opportunities; track outcomes, analyze ROI, and provide concise executive reporting. Manage business development budgets and expenses; develop project-specific plans with defined scope, timelines, and costs. Establish and maintain brand standards; oversee design, production, inventory, and quality of marketing and outreach materials. Support development of patient-facing education and forms to ensure consistency, clarity, and professional presentation. Build and maintain strong community relationships; coordinate and participate in outreach events, seminars, sports physicals, and community programs. Develop and maintain referral relationships across Palm Beach, and surrounding counties, including PCPs, hospitals, emergency departments, SNFs, ancillary providers, and payer networks. Leads workers' compensation relationship development, supporting employer and carrier engagement, referral growth, and service awareness. Coordinate advertising and sponsorships by evaluating alignment with practice goals, costs, timing, and required deliverables. Manage and monitor the practice's online presence, including website and social media content, in collaboration with marketing vendors and leadership. Monitor provider online reputation; maintain accurate profiles and communicate trends to physicians as appropriate. Support physician onboarding by coordinating introductory outreach and community presence for new providers. Partner with Human Resources on internal marketing and employee engagement initiatives; participate in staff events, recognition, and committees. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare business development, marketing, or provider relations, orthopaedics strongly preferred. Strong understanding of healthcare referral networks, including workers compensation, provider engagement, and community outreach. Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze data, and present executive-level summaries. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. High level of professionalism and discretion; comfortable working directly with physicians and executive leadership. Work Environment This role requires regular on-site presence and local travel for meetings and events. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required based on outreach activities.
