Embrace a rewarding opportunity to support students' growth and independence as a contract Occupational Therapist across a variety of educational settings near Minneapolis, MN. Multiple positions are available: two full-time roles spanning the academic year, and a long-term substitute opening for the first months of the school year (specific dates to be confirmed). Each role starts September 8, 2026, concluding June 10, 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.

As part of a dedicated school-based therapy team, you'll work with a caseload of 20-40 students, focusing on those within Setting 4 programs. Each therapist will serve one location, choosing from a selection of renowned education centers including South Education Center, North Education Center, Ann Bremer Education Center, or West Education Center.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in Minnesota
• Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of evidence-based OT interventions for pediatric and adolescent populations
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative OT services to assigned students in accordance with IEP goals
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
• Document services and student progress in compliance with district and state requirements
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff consultations
• Support inclusive practices and facilitate student access to the curriculum and school environment
