Client Advisory Partner - Water/Wastewater Utilities - Central Region Location: Chicago, IL; Overland Park, KS; Houston, TX; Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; Ann Arbor, MI Company: Black & Veatch Family of Companies The Opportunity As the Client Advisory Partner for Water/Wastewater Utilities, you will: Work with CAMs, Client Segment Leaders, and Enterprise Evolution on strategic account management. Build relationships with regional and segment leaders, establishing a cadence to understand regional strategy. Partner with Enterprise Innovation to target new and innovative solutions for clients. Preferred locations: Kansas City, Houston, or Dallas. Candidates in other listed locations will be considered. Key Responsibilities Lead IA client engagement activities from opportunity creation to business capture. Generate and qualify business leads in the region. Co‑develop client strategy with CAMs (segmentation, prioritization, key accounts, GTM). Co‑develop marketing strategy in collaboration with Strategic Growth. Accountable for client satisfaction; manage P&L for the region. Monitor industry trends to ensure competitive positioning. Provide regional client strategy oversight. Identify strategic, target, and opportunistic accounts. Act as the voice of the account/client within IA. Implement strategies that enable IA to obtain new business sales. Coordinate with other market sectors to pursue new business sales. Develop and implement the strategic go‑to‑market framework. Execute Large Account Management Process (Gold Sheet) for strategic accounts. Lead and guide the Strategic Account Team. Lead the “Zippering” process for IA professionals and account peers. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in communication, marketing, or related field; or equivalent experience. Minimum 15 years’ experience in high‑stake client strategy and pursuit strategy. Must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements. Preferred Qualifications Sales and BD acumen: proven ability to break into new accounts and expand service offerings. Strategic development and implementation experience. Certifications Relevant certifications preferred. Work Environment/Physical Demands Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after 90 days.
