Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients, including physical examinations and thorough assessments of their medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting lab results and imaging studies
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide critical intraoperative support by ensuring proper surgical preparation, patient positioning, and instrument handoff
• Administer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a focus on surgical procedure experience are preferred

Certifications Required

• Current, unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Necessary Skills
