Job Summary

The Cardiac Cath Lab Buyer / Patient Liaison will demonstrates leadership in planning for the care of the Cath Lab and Diagnostic Imaging patient. This a very dynamic and varied role. The primary goal as the Cath Lab Buyer is to ensure that the Department has the supplies it needs to provide high, quality patient care. Additionally, as the Diagnostic Patient Liaison, the primary goal is to ensure the supplies are available prior to scheduled procedures. Additionally, ensuring all service agreements are up to date. Skills utilized in their job performance include organization, communication, teaching, leadership, customer service, and quality improvement according to hospital standards.

• Set and maintain stockroom organization and PAR levels by ordering, stocking, cleaning, and arranging stockroom items in an orderly manner
• Set and maintain procedure room PAR levels and specialized cart stock levels
• Ensure consignment products are inventoried, identified, and replaced and per policy
• Work with Supply Chain to ensure POU system is up to date by having necessary items added to the PAR and working with Supply Chain to set the min and max
• Submit SMAT forms for presentation to the SMAT committee

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate / GED
• 1 to 3 years of experience
