We are seeking a results-driven Financial Accounting Manager/Controller to oversee financial operations and reporting for a multi-entity wholesale distribution and e-commerce organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, establishing robust internal controls, maintaining general ledger integrity, and driving efficient month-end close cycles across multiple operating divisions.

The ideal candidate brings strong corporate accounting experience, advanced analytical capabilities, proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms, and a hands-on approach to leading and developing accounting talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Entity Financial Management: Oversee consolidated and entity-level accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP across all business units and distribution/sales channels.
• Month-End & Year-End Close: Lead timely, accurate month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations, variance analysis, and consolidated reporting.
• General Ledger Integrity: Manage daily general ledger transactions, journal entries, roll-forwards, and balance sheet reviews.
• Internal Controls & Governance: Establish, monitor, and strengthen internal control frameworks to safeguard company assets, mitigate risk, and improve operational compliance.
• Team Leadership & Development: Provide active direction, coaching, and performance management to the accounting and finance team.
• Financial Analysis & Data Modeling: Leverage advanced Microsoft Excel skills and reporting tools to conduct financial analysis, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and support strategic decision-making.
• Cross-Functional & Systems Integration: Collaborate with e-commerce, sales, and supply chain operations while optimizing ERP and CRM integrations for streamlined financial workflows.

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven experience in corporate accounting with demonstrated progress in financial management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., complex formulas, data analysis, modeling, pivot tables).

Preferred:

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP principles, full-cycle general ledger accounting, and multi-entity financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience within wholesale distribution, B2B e-commerce, or supply chain industries.
• Experience managing and optimizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and CRM integrations.
• Background in developing and maintaining internal controls and auditing procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
