Class A CDL Drivers For Switching Position
Universal Logistics Insight is seeking Class A CDL Drivers for a switching position in Pontiac, MI!
Job Details:
- Work week schedule: Monday - Friday + occasional Saturdays
- Hours: 2PM-midnight
- 2 weeks training on 1st shift: 6am-3pm
- 40 hours/week (overtime after 40)
- Pay: $25.98/hour
- Benefits after 90 days: Blue Cross/Blue Shield medical, dental, and vision.
- Paid holidays and paid days off
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform trailer switches according to schedule
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Check trailer numbers and verify documentation
- Report equipment damage or safety issues
- Maintain yard organization and traffic flow
- Communicate with warehouse staff and dispatch
- Follow all DOT and company safety policies
Requirements & Experience:
- CDL-A
- 6 months tractor trailer experience
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
- No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- No felonies or DUI/OWI in the last 5 years
