Physician – Department of Anesthesiology, General Anesthesiologist (Open Rank/Track Faculty)

Position Overview

Provide perioperative care at University Hospital, The James Comprehensive Cancer Hospital on the main campus, and expanding outpatient surgical centers. The department values collaborative interaction as part of a diverse and inclusive team. Leadership opportunities are available for qualified candidates. The academic rank and track are commensurate with academic record and experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative care to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and other health‑care professionals.
• Take part in teaching, mentoring, and educational activities.
• Participate in research and scholarly activities as appropriate.

Requirements

• MD or DO.
• Successful completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for an Ohio Medical License.
