Doctor of Medicine | Hospitalist Location: Lewisburg, PA Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Hospitalist Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Lewisburg, PA Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Oct 05, 2026 – Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7 PM – 7 AM or 11 AM - 11 PM), 16 shifts per month (4x12s per week); No call PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults (18+) Patient Volume/Census: 18+ patients per day FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 12 ICU beds EMR System: EPIC Specialty Backup Available: Critical Care, Geriatrics, Palliative Care; Intensivist support during prime hours PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes, for urgent needs JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active PA license or Universal License (IMLC) Board: BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine DEA: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Experience: Inpatient hospitalist experience; ability to manage ICU-level patients DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Manage inpatient hospitalist caseload of 18+ patients per day Provide supervision and direction to Physician Assistants Manage basic ICU-level patients including vent management (with intensivist support during prime hours) Perform admissions, discharges, and daily rounds Participate in a 12-hour shift schedule (days or nights) with 16 shifts per month
