ERISA Associate Attorney (1-2 yrs) - Am Law 50 Firm

About the Position:

Our client, a large and sophisticated global law firm, has an active need for an ERISA attorney to join its Chicago office as a junior-level associate. The person in this position will be joining a nationally top-ranked ERISA practice and will focus on executive compensation and employee benefits-related matters, as part of corporate, M&A and private equity transactions.

Responsibilities:

\n

· Advise public and private companies on executive compensation and employee benefits matters arising in mergers and acquisitions, financings, initial public offerings, and other corporate transactions

\n

· Conduct due diligence on complex transactional matters, examining employee benefit plans and executive compensation arrangements in the context of general corporate transactions

\n

\n

Required Qualifications:

\n

· 1-2 years of experience handling employee benefits/executive compensation transactions

\n

· Large law firm experience preferred

\n

· Excellent academic credentials

\n

\n

Compensation:

\n

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000 - $235,000.
