We're looking for a motivated and efficient Food Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This role involves preparing a variety of savory dishes, assisting in food preparation, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring all ingredients are ready for service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Working efficiently with teammates in a professional manner to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen.
• Maintaining an organized approach while working quickly and effectively in a busy kitchen.
• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, equipment, and customer seating areas, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene.
• Lifting and restocking supplies, and assisting with unloading weekly deliveries to ensure the kitchen is always well-stocked.
• Following recipes accurately, ensuring each step is completed to perfection for consistent food quality.
• Reading and interpreting order slips, preparing savory dishes as directed with attention to detail.
• Safely demonstrating and using kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, fryers, and other necessary tools for food preparation.
• Performing light dishwashing duties and cleaning up your work area after preparing food.
• Wrapping, labeling, and dating food items, adhering to FIFO (First In, First Out) food rotation practices to ensure freshness.
• Being a helpful and positive coworker, supporting team members and contributing to an overall positive work environment.
• Performing other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
