The Opportunity
Global Veterinary Careers is partnering with a well-established, community-focused hospital in the heart of Brooklyn to appoint a Medical Director . You’ll set the clinical standard, mentor a talented team, and collaborate with operations leadership to deliver outstanding patient care and client experience.

What You’ll Do
Oversee clinical quality and patient care standards
Mentor and develop associate veterinarians and support staff
Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
Partner with leadership on hospital goals, workflow, and resource planning
Engage with the local community to enhance the clinic’s reputation
Maintain an active clinical caseload (small animal GP)
Schedule
Full-time leadership role with protected admin time (details at interview)
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary starting at $210,000+ DOE + production
Signing bonus up to $100,000 (experience-dependent)

What You’ll Need
DVM/VMD (AVMA-accredited) or equivalent
NAVLE; ECFVG or PAVE if applicable
Eligible for DEA, NY state, and USDA accreditation (can be obtained upon hire)
Competence in general medicine, dentistry, and routine surgery
