Operations AssociateThe Operations Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for assisting the Product Lifecycle Manager with all aspects of daily material handling in a retail branch location. The Operations Associate will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective receiving, stocking, and presentation strategies that align with the goals of our sales, merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory teams.Job Location: 845 Woodland Road, Wyomissing, PA 19610We only accept W-2 candidates, H-1B sponsorship is not available.ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Execute efficient receiving and put-away of incoming stock using pallet jacks, carts and/or powered equipmentEnsure a high level of organization and neatness while completing daily restocking tasksCommunicate effectively with the Merchandising and Inventory teams to sufficiently stock products in correct merchandising locations within the branchCommunicate effectively with the Product Lifecycle Manager to address any operational issuesRotate stock (FIFO) and pull damaged and expired products as neededPerform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goalsMaintain the overall cleanliness of the storePhysical RequirementsWork is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.QualificationsExperienceDemonstrated knowledge of our business model and a strong work ethicBasic customer service skills and ability to function well with coworkersStrong verbal communication skills and ability to think criticallyDemonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentBusiness Proficiency in English is requiredEducationThis role does not require a degree.
