CDL Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Driver to join our team. The CDL Driver will be responsible for transporting goods and materials in a timely, efficient, and safe manner while adhering to all federal, state, and company regulations. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Safely loading, securing, and unloading cargo according to established procedures.
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
• Maintaining accurate logs of working hours, mileage, and deliveries using electronic logging devices (ELDs).
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
• Adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards while on the road.
• Reporting any mechanical issues or incidents promptly to management.

Qualifications include:

• Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Physical requirements include:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
• Capability to perform manual labor, including loading and unloading cargo.
