Janitor

Summary: The Janitor is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the showroom and warehouse. This role includes routine cleaning tasks, light maintenance, and support for company events, including setup, cleanup, dishwashing, and light bar service.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday from 05:00 AM to 04:00 PM, 2 Saturday(s) a month from 05:00 AM to 10:30 AM

Compensation: This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $18.75 to $21.75 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $47,000 and $62,600 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.

Responsibilites:

• Clean and maintain the showroom, warehouse, and office areas.
• Clean and restock restrooms, ensuring all supplies are adequately available.
• Empty trash bins throughout the facility, including office and warehouse areas.
• Sweep, mop, and operate floor cleaning equipment, such as a sweeper machine.
• Maintain and restock janitorial and maintenance supplies in the stockroom.
• Perform minor maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
• Drive a company vehicle to pick up supplies when necessary.
• Support company events with setup, general cleaning, trash removal, dishwashing, and light bar service.
• Perform additional duties as required or requested.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) plus years of janitorial experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Forklift certification or experience preferred.
• Experience operating a floor sweeper preferred.
• Basic proficiency with a computer or tablet is a plus.
