The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the utilities division on a variety of construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your skills and experience in subsurface utility engineering in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The role offers a great chance to lead a team of professionals while working on innovative, large-scale projects that will have a significant impact on the community. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the utilities team to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all utility-related aspects of the project are well planned and executed.
• Utilize your expertise in subsurface utility engineering to develop effective strategies for underground utility design, installation, and maintenance.
• Oversee the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and specifications.
• Manage risks and issues related to utilities, ensuring they are identified, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure work is being carried out to the project's specifications.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status, issues, and achievements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying experience with proven SUE experience
• Experience with Land Development Desktop, Civil3D, and/or Carlson Survey
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
• A valid driver’s license is required for regular site visits.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an asset.
