Flexible availability required for various shifts. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects. Identify customer needs and provide advice and guidance regarding financial solutions that best serve the customer. Collaborate within the branch and with BMO partners across channels to deliver an outstanding customer experience and achieve business objectives. Identify referral opportunities that grow the customer’s relationship beyond personal banking. Welcome and guide customers as they enter the branch lobby, offering advice on digital and self-serve options to make banking easy, simple, and fast. Assist in client conversations about banking services, recommend alternative channels, and provide personal banking and investment advice. Meet customer transaction‑based needs with seamless execution. Review customer profiles and engage in needs‑based conversations to identify opportunities and address everyday banking plans and credit card needs. Support operational activities such as inventory management, escalated service requests, follow‑up on customer applications, filing, opening and closing activities. Act as a key member of a collaborative and versatile branch and market team. Probe to understand customer personal‑banking and credit‑card needs and integrate marketing promotions into conversations to provide strategic advice. Organize work information to ensure accuracy and completeness. Take initiative to find creative approaches that personalize each customer experience. Contribute to continuous improvement of the overall customer experience. Adhere to risk and compliance processes and policies to safeguard customer assets and privacy. Identify and report suspicious patterns of activity potentially related to money laundering. Analyze issues, determine next steps, and, when required, elevate as necessary. Work across multiple branches or channels as market needs require; shift schedules may vary weekly. Qualifications Typically 1–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Confident and experienced using social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools and applications. Some experience in consultative customer service or sales roles with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience. Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions for referral to specialists. Passionate commitment to helping customers and a focus on results. Resourceful self‑starter with courage and confidence to approach customers. Readiness to collaborate and work in different capacities as part of a team. Strong interpersonal skills in building rapport and connections with customers. Aptitude for listening, solving problems, and responding flexibly and creatively to new challenges. Verbal and written communication skills – Good. Organization skills – Good. Collaboration and team skills – Good. Analytical and problem‑solving skills – Good. Compensation Salary: $41,714.00 – $50,000.00 (Salaried). Salary varies by location, skills, experience, education and qualifications. Part‑time roles are prorated based on hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the listed salary represents the expected target for the first year.
