Overview Join the Springwell Volunteer Team as a volunteer Ombudsman and become an advocate for residents in local long term care facilities. Ombudsman volunteers act as advocates at long‑term care facilities working to ensure that the residents’ rights are protected and helping residents with problems that they are unable to resolve alone. Locations We cover all nursing homes and rest homes in 22 towns: Ashland, Belmont, Brookline, Dover, Framingham, Holliston, Hopkinton, Hudson, Marlborough, Natick, Needham, Newton, Northborough, Sherborn, Southborough, Sudbury, Waltham, Watertown, Wayland, Wellesley, Westborough, and Weston. We have an immediate need for volunteers in the Westborough area.
