Job Description:

As a Shuttle Driver, you will play a key role in enhancing guest experiences by ensuring safe and timely transportation. You will be responsible for navigating designated routes, assisting guests with their luggage, and providing helpful information about local attractions. Your friendly and professional demeanor will help create a memorable and welcoming experience for all guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Guest Transportation: Safely transport guests to and from designated locations in a timely manner.
• Luggage Assistance: Help guests with loading and unloading luggage as needed.
• Local Guidance: Provide guests with information about local attractions, restaurants, and hotel services.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of the shuttle vehicle, report any maintenance issues, and keep the vehicle clean and organized.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, hotel policies, and safety regulations while driving.

Education, Skills and Abilities:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior experience in driving or customer service role.
• Area Knowledge: Familiarity with the local area and attractions to enhance guest experience.
• Excellent driving abilities: Valid NC or SC driver's license with a clean driving record and a strong commitment to safety.
• Time management skills: To ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Problem-solving abilities: To handle guest inquiries and unexpected situations.
• Communication: Basic communication skills to interact effectively with team members, supervisors and customers.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs (luggage).
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
• Ability to enter and exit the shuttle vehicle multiple times per shift.
