When you join VMG, you become part of a supportive team where your growth powers our success.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Part-Time Production Worker to support our Berryville sheet metal shop. This role focuses on assisting with production tasks, preparing materials, and supporting daily shop operations. No prior fabrication or welding experience is required-just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.Schedule: Part-Time, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PMTraining Schedule: During the training period, employees will work on 1st Shift to learn shop processes, equipment, and safety procedures before transitioning to their regular part-time schedule (3:00 PM – 7:00 PM).Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with cutting, bending, and preparing materials for productionOperate basic shop equipment and hand toolsFollow work orders and support daily production goalsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaSupport team members with general shop tasksRequirementsPrior work experience in construction, warehouse, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on environment preferredAbility to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environmentStrong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learnComfortable working with tools and in a production settingAbility to work the part-time schedule of 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM after completing trainingPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. regularlyAbility to stand, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shiftAbility to work safely in a production and manufacturing environment
