Amos Hill is searching for an experienced Plant Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills to help keep our plant running at top efficiency. When our techs are not actively making repairs to keep the plant running smoothly, they keep themselves engaged by making improvements to existing equipment, implementing new ideas to make lives easier and safer, and learning from one another to improve their skill sets. With the full support of management, you will have the freedom to learn new skills and turn your own ideas into reality.

As a maintenance tech, you will work in a small team to answer radio calls from production, but you will also complete projects assigned by your supervisor. While we strongly support On the Job Training, the ideal candidate will hit the ground running if they already posses technical experience including exposure to PLCs, VFDs and motor starting circuits.

Candidate must be able to:

Possess a strong desire to learn industrial maintenance and electrical troubleshooting

Obey all safety rules and regulations and work in a safe manner

Follow verbal and written instructions

Troubleshoot 480 V motor circuits

Troubleshoot low voltage control circuits

Use power tools to repair and perform light fabrication on equipment

Use hand tools to disassemble and reassemble equipment

Work as part of a team to perform larger machine repairs and complete projects

Use instruction manuals and electrical diagrams to aid in troubleshooting and repairs
