Big Wave Docks | Lake Norman Area

$60,000 to $90,000 per year based on experience

Full Time | Year Round Work | 50 Hours Per Week | Weekends Off

Big Wave Docks is expanding our crew and looking for a reliable, hard working Marine Carpenter / Dock Construction Crew Member with hands on carpentry experience.

CARPENTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. This is not an entry level general labor position.

What You'll Do

• Perform hands on carpentry and construction work on residential docks and waterfront projects
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials accurately
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Assist with dock construction, repairs, additions, and related projects
• Work as part of a crew while maintaining a fast, productive pace
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow company safety and construction procedures
• Work outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Travel to job sites throughout the Lake Norman area

What We're Looking For

• Recent hands on carpentry experience is required
• Experience with framing, decking, construction, or similar carpentry work is highly valued
• Ability to confidently use common hand and power tools
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation to and from Lake Norman job sites
• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in hot, cold, wet, and changing weather conditions
• Dependable, honest, hardworking, and willing to learn
• Ability to work at a consistent and productive pace
• Trailer pulling experience is a plus
