Shipping & Receiving Associate – Forklift Operator | Union, OH | $20–$22/hr.
Join our warehouse team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate responsible for loading/unloading trucks, inspecting incoming shipments, and maintaining accurate shipping records .
Candidates should have forklift certification, warehouse experience, and strong attention to detail when handling materials and documentation.
1st Shift - Monday - Thursday 7AM - 4:30 PM and Friday 7AM - 12PM (45-minute lunch)

~ Access to a retirement plan, financial fitness, and employee savings programs The Shipping and Receiving Associate in Union, OH is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials, including the loading and unloading of trucks to support smooth warehouse operations. This role involves receiving and visually inspecting incoming materials, maintaining accurate shipping/receiving records. The Shipping and Receiving Associate plays a key role in ensuring compliance with safety standards and proper documentation of all inbound and outbound shipments.
Receiving & Inspection
Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips, purchase orders, or other documents.
Perform visual inspection of goods for damage, quantity accuracy, and quality compliance.
Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the supervisor immediately.
Shipping
Collaboration: Work closely with production team members to address material needs and schedule adjustments.
Loading & Unloading
Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment to safely load and unload goods from trucks.
Ensure proper stacking, wrapping, and securement of materials for transport or storage.
Fill out log sheets, checklists, and other tracking documents accurately.
Sign and validate packing slips, bill of ladings (BOL), and other shipping/receiving documents.
Maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems (manual or digital).
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
Inspect forklifts and other equipment daily before use.
~ Previous experience in a packaging or warehouse role is preferred.
High school diploma or GED.
