POSITION: Sales Associate

REPORTING TO: Boutique Manager

LOCATION: Miami Design District, FL

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Salesperson at John Hardy, you are an ambassador for our brand and its values, creating an exceptional experience tailored to each client’s needs. You will play a key role in client conversion and retention, driving revenue and building lasting loyalty. You will work alongside a diverse sales team and report to the Boutique’s leadership

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Client Development

• Build and grow a personal book of top clients through regular, personalized outreach.
\n
• Use clienteling tools and marketing resources to engage current clients and attract new ones.
\n
• Capture and maintain accurate client data to personalize every future interaction.
\n
• Deliver a consistent, warm experience at every stage of the client journey, from first visit through after-sales care.
\n

Sales and Service

\n
• Meet and exceed individual sales targets while contributing to the boutique’s overall sales and profitability plan.
\n
• Understand each client’s needs and guide them to the right piece.
\n
• Make every client the priority, creating a warm and hospitable experience in every interaction.
\n
• Champion new product launches and key business initiatives.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all product categories.
\n
• Stay current on industry and market trends to identify new selling opportunities.
\n

Operations

\n
• Support inventory control and help achieve shrink objectives.
\n
• Maintain visual merchandising, product presentation, backstock organization, and housekeeping to current brand guidelines.
\n
• Follow all retail operating and security procedures, handling merchandise with care to protect clients, colleagues, and company assets.
\n
• Partner with the support team on repairs and keep clients informed through completion.
\n
• Adhere to the wardrobe policy.
\n

Teamwork

• Communicate openly and constructively with colleagues, taking a flexible, solution-oriented approach.
\n
• Partner with the team to deliver a consistent client experience and contribute to a positive store environment.
\n

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Required

\n
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in luxury sales, retail, or a related client-facing role.
\n
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
\n
• Exceptional client relationship-building skills.
\n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
\n
• Comfort point-of-sale (POS) and clienteling/CRM systems.
\n
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
\n

Preferred

\n
• Fine jewelry or watch sales experience.
\n
• An established client book.
\n
• Keyholder experience is a plus.
\n
• Fluency in a second language, such as Spanish.
\n
