divh2Senior Financial Analyst (FPA)/h2pAs a Sr. Financial Analyst at Impulse Space, you will serve as a key member in the growing FPA team at Impulse Space. This individual will play a critical role in assisting the Director of FPA with implementing a new budgeting and reporting process. They will also be a key contributor and manager of the companys 5-year integrated 3-statement financial model. The role will be extremely cross-functional, partnering with Manufacturing, Engineering, Test other groups to really understand how to budget for and successfully execute the next phase of growth. They will provide functional leaders both detailed analysis and actionable business incites; the ideal candidate will be both analytically curious and operationally minded./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliLead the budgeting and forecasting responsibilities for groups including Manufacturing, Engineering Test/liliUnderstand and translate teams operational goals into financial forecasts and long-range planning scenarios/liliDevelop scenario models to support strategic decision making and roll-out company-wide/liliPartner with leaders to understand cost drivers and resource needs (headcount, capital, and opex)/liliProvide monthly reporting packages for leadership and provide business partners with actionable insights at both department and program levels/liliBuild dashboards and KPI frameworks to track performance against budget, forecast, and long-range plan/liliIdentify risks and opportunities to the financial plan and program targets/liliContinuously improve the 5-year integrated 3 statement model and assist with Board of Directors materials prep/liliSupport ad hoc strategic analysis including fundraising, pricing, and investment decisions/liliBe a champion for continuous improvement to data and systems/liliAct as a trusted advisor and analytical extension of the Director of FPA/li/ulh3Minimum Qualifications/h3ulliBachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field/lili5+ years of experience in FPA, corporate finance, or investment banking/liliDemonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a complex organization/liliAbility to work cross-functionally with technical and non-financial stakeholders/liliAdvanced Excel modeling skills (must be highly proficient)/liliStrong experience building and maintaining integrated 3-statement financial models/li/ulh3Preferred Skills and Experience/h3ulli4+ years of demonstrated experience in aerospace, defense, hardware, manufacturing, or deep tech environments/liliCompleted MBA program/liliDemonstrated experience with ERP systems and planning tools (NetSuite, Anaplan, Adaptive, etc.)/liliExposure to pre-IPO, high-growth startup environments/li/ulpCompensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity.
