Team Member Position

The Team Member position creates legendary experiences for guests through the production of all Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW) Go food menu items and by managing the takeout process, from order to pick-up/payment.

Responsibilities include:

• Complies with all specs, quality standards and department rules and procedures
• Maintains high standards of cleanliness and keeps a sanitized and orderly environment in the HOH and FOH
• Stays current on all federal, state, local and company required training and certifications
• Diligently follows safety requirements and models behavior that protects them and others
• Other duties as assigned

Cashier/Expo Stations responsibilities include:

• Warmly welcomes guests when they enter the restaurant, making personalized and authentic connections
• Answers the phones timely with proper phone etiquette, according to BWW standards
• Takes guest takeout orders via phone or in person, following the takeout steps of service
• Displays salesmanship by recommending items, upselling add-ons and customizations to enhance guest's takeout experience
• Utilizes point-of-sale system to enter takeout and all other orders using proper cash handling procedures
• Uses functions in KDU such as ticket time tracking, prioritize ticket and prioritize order to manage orders
• Monitors ticket times to ensure they remain within standards. Takes corrective actions when standards are not met
• When bagging orders, quality checks food presentation, adherence to recipes and order accuracy. Pays close attention to any noted special requests/modifiers and allergies
• Manages the takeout expo screen (e.g., bumps orders, order status changes on the Guest Display Board, etc.)
• Places takeout order in corresponding locker and condiments on locker shelf
• Thanks guests and invites them back on their way out

Kitchen Station responsibilities include:

• Cooks and prepares food on all stations according to recipes, build posters and timing standards
• Plates food in takeout containers with attention to detail and according to standards, utilizing appropriate quality indicator stickers
• Follows all safety guidelines for food handling, time and temperature control and cross-contamination avoidance
• Preps/portions items according to need, following all recipes/specs and label with use-by dates
• Utilizes KDU to monitor incoming orders, prioritize items when needed and bump orders once dish is complete
• Maintains the fryers and quality of shortening/oil throughout shift and skims, polishes, filters and dumps fryers based on the filtering schedule
• Ensures oil, hot holding, refrigerators and freezers are all at the proper temperature
• Tracks all waste on waste sheet throughout shift

Education/Experience:

• Minimum 16 years of age (or higher per applicable law)
• Certified in any state, county or local food handling requirements
• Preferred: Prior experience working in a restaurant or customer service role

Physical Demands:

• This position requires frequent standing, sitting, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching and lifting in a restaurant environment.
