We provide cardiopulmonary care, ventilator and respiratory care, complex wound care, rehabilitation therapies, addiction medicine program, geriatric psychiatry program, multidisciplinary pain program, and outpatient counseling program. With four locations in Shreveport and Bossier City, we are the largest provider of LTAC services in Northwest Louisiana. Working at an LTAC facility like Intensive Specialty Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) is a GREAT OPPORTUNITY to encounter a variety of patients and develop exceptional skills to be a part of our committed TEAM. The Certified Respiratory Therapist (RT) will provide cardio-pulmonary services according to the scope of the State Respiratory Care Practice Act and the hospital policy and procedure manuals. The Respiratory Care Practitioner may administer and perform those direct and indirect cardio-pulmonary services, including but not limited to, the administration of pharmacological and diagnostic and therapeutic agents related to cardio-pulmonary procedures necessary to implement a treatment, disease prevention pulmonary rehabilitation, and diagnostic regimen prescribed by a physician using safe and aseptic techniques. Requirements / Qualifications Education: Associates Degree Entry level experience Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, prioritizing, and critical thinking skills Sufficient hearing, vision and dexterity to perform duties safely Certifications required for Respiratory Therapist (RT) Current National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential (i.e., CRT, RRT) Current and valid Louisiana State Respiratory Care Licensure Location Shreveport, LA and Bossier City, LA #J-18808-Ljbffr
