Credit Risk Manager - Healthcare

The Sr Credit Risk Manager is responsible for all underwriting activities related to new and existing credit transactions with moderate to higher complexity, including client diligence, structuring, due diligence, and preparation of the underwriting package. Responsibilities Underwrites and structures new prospective transactions, renewals, extensions, increases, and material modifications for existing clients. Participates in external client meetings and internal deal team discussions, identifies, outlines, and mitigates risks, advises on the Bank’s Credit Policy, and provides guidance on loan structures and risk appetite. Performs due diligence and analysis, produces credit presentations, and presents credit requests to required level of credit authority. Maintains oversight via internal reporting and dashboards of all portfolio monitoring requirements and client deliverables and ensures compliance with all loan terms. Validates and analyzes financial statements, borrowing base certificates, collateral examinations, appraisals, engineering reports, etc., escalates issues and develops action plans. Ensures credits are accurately risk‑rated, monitored, and reported. Prepares required quarterly reports and analysis, including Criticized Loan Monitoring Reports and other portfolio management reports. Participates in special projects related to portfolio management. Requirements High school diploma or GED. Minimum five years of experience in a commercial lending environment in a credit‑oriented underwriting position. Preferred Experience Bachelor’s degree and completion of a formal credit training program. Required Skills Strong understanding of policies and procedures, underwriting guidelines and RACs. Strong knowledge of credit underwriting, financial accounting, and loan documentation. Strong knowledge of deal structuring and ability to explain structure to lenders. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent interpersonal and social skills for interacting with loan officers, staff, and customers. Strong time‑management skills. Solid mathematical and credit analysis skills. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. Full‑time Exempt Location Total Rewards Summary Comprehensive total rewards package including base salary, commission‑based compensation, discretionary incentive compensation, health care and insurance plans, retirement savings options, tuition and adoption reimbursement programs, paid time off, mental health support, and other benefits. Pay Range $85,200.00 – $147,200.00 per year. Benefits Beneficiaries are eligible for health, dental, vision, retirement savings, and paid leave among other benefits.
