The Order Selector position involves receiving instructions and accurately picking, verifying, and staging customer orders within a warehouse environment. You'll operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, organize inventory, and ensure product quality and safety. This role is vital for maintaining efficient warehouse operations, supporting timely shipments, and ensuring customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Receive verbal instructions from management for order picking tasksPick and count customer orders from racking, pallets, bins, or shelves to ensure accuracyVerify product counts and types align with customer ordersStage completed orders in designated areas for shipmentOrganize and arrange items on pallets or storage locations as neededRe-pack and reorganize products within storage areas and pick locationsMaintain inventory organization and update storage recordsInspect products for damages or defects during picking and stagingOperate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks safely and effectivelyAssist in warehouse organization and space managementContribute ideas to improve warehouse procedures and operational efficiencyRequired Qualifications:Strong warehouse background in shipping and receivingAbility to read and write in EnglishExperience operating forklift, pallet jack, and other material handling equipmentAbility to organize stock and maintain inventory accuracyStrong communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with order picking and packing processesTools / Equipment / Systems:ForkliftPallet jackWarehouse storage systemsWork Environment / Physical Requirements:Tier 2 - up to 20 lbs lifting requirementFair Chance & Background Checks: This position may require a background check consistent with applicable law.
