This includes appropriate meal selections, between-meal nourishments, and special formulas required by each individual patient. Essential functions include:Assists dietitian in the assessment of nutritional needs by obtaining meal selections.Interviews patients to identify food preferences and allergies.Dietetic Technicians Registered (DTRs) only: Assesses patient calorie counts, percentage of food consumed by the patient, conducts meal rounds, diet restriction monitoring, etc.Maintains pertinent records.QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
