The Role As a CDL A Driver at McGill, you’ll play a key role in transporting organic materials and finished compost safely and efficiently between customer sites and company facilities. This is a local driving position where safety, reliability, and professionalism matter every day. You’ll help move materials that are transformed into compost—supporting sustainability and the environment. What You’ll Do Safely operate Class A CDL trucks (tractor-trailer, dump trailer, roll-off, or walking floor) Transport organic waste, yard debris, and compost products Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate logs, tickets, and documentation Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies Communicate effectively with dispatch and site teams Assist with loading/unloading when needed What Sets McGill Apart At McGill, we don’t just haul materials—we move something meaningful.
