Compensation Data:

$65K - $75K + Bonus (Bonus can range from $5K - $20K)

Purpose:

The primary role of the Inside Sales Representative is to support the sales and marketing efforts for Harris Supply Solutions Inc. The primary regions covered will be the Mid-West and East to the Mid-Atlantic. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for the entire sales process from the initial quote all the way to the final invoice and working closely with the HSSI sales team to create value and take care of customers. This job requires some local travel to visit customers and the operational parts of the business – no extensive travel necessary. The successful candidate will also spend time developing relationships with the Nucor Bar Mills in the region that supply the products we sell.

• Communication Skills - Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to successfully present ideas, negotiate, lead meetings, and articulate presentations.

• Business Acumen – General business knowledge and an understanding of how Nucor makes money.

• Teamwork - Working as part of a coordinated effort with others to achieve a common goal. Able to deliver commercial updates to the Sales team regarding the specific territory/market.

• Customer Service -- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. This also includes ability to effectively anticipate and meet customer needs and the ability to adjust approach based on the situation.
• Initiative/Innovative -- Being proactive with seeking out work that needs to be done and being willing to take on responsibilities and challenges.

Preferences:

• Rebar or related construction industry knowledge
• Sales and business experience
• 4-Year college degree
