Registered NurseThe position involves providing nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. The nurse will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Patient ratios are typically 1:4. The nurse will be expected to float between units based on patient needs. Weekends are required on an every other basis. On-call duties may also be part of the responsibilities. Flexibility is essential to meet the changing needs of the unit. The facility operates as a short-term acute care center and has a level IV trauma designation. Candidates should be prepared to handle various patient conditions, including but not limited to cardiac telemetry.
