Family Law Associate Attorney

Job Description We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our family law practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to providing exceptional client service. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a Board Certified Family Law attorney with over 30 years of experience in a collaborative and supportive environment. Responsibilities: Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements etc. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide exceptional client service Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third parties Handle matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, enforcement, modifications, and other family law issues Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' best interests Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics Qualifications: Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas 1-5+ years of family law experience preferred Skilled in establishing rapport and trust with clients Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple cases and meet court deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software Demonstrated excellence in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities Benefits: 401(k) Matching 401(k) Optional: Dental/Vision, Life, Cancer, Accident or DisabilityInsurance Paid time off Bar Dues Paid Eligibility for performance based bonuses Eligibility for year end bonus Professional development Company Description The Cusic Law Firm, P.C. is a boutique family law firm based in Houston, Texas.
