Step into a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students with unique learning needs from now until May 2027. You will have the opportunity to lead a self-contained classroom for grades 3rd through 5th, focusing on adaptive curriculum instruction for a dedicated group of seven students.

Your expertise in special education will be instrumental in managing a moderate to severe caseload, nurturing each child’s growth within a structured, supportive environment. This position is full-time, with 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to make a significant, sustained impact on student development and classroom community.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid EC Adaptive Curriculum Licensure
• Experience with moderate/severe special education caseloads
• Familiarity with self-contained classroom settings
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Adapt curriculum materials and instructional methods to promote academic achievement and independence
• Collaborate with families, support staff, and other educators for holistic student support
• Monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
